Everything looks beautiful as always Penelope!

Exciting times.
Will buy several copies, 1 for me the rest to give away.
How I wish you could have met my mentor, Mary Kistner. Her style similar to yours. She was in magazines etc….
Her memorial service was in a large art gallery. It was standing room only. Few dry eyes, even with the men.
XO T
I am so very complimented that I remind you of her! I can only hope that when I am gone people remember me with a fraction of the love and respect you (and others) felt for her!!
She sounds wonderful! You told me I reminded you of her your very first comment when I first started blogging!!
Congratulations! I will run out this weekend in search of this issue. Looking forward to a relaxing read. Have a nice weekend
Congratulations Penny! How lovely and so happy for you and Renee! And just think, they can come back and shoot your garden and Renee’s for the next issue!
xoxo

This layout is the reason I purchased this magazine. Beautiful home, so glad I got to see it, it has inspired me to add a few extras to my own home. I will now have to start following your blog as well.

Your article in French Country Style
Message Penny – I picked up the magazine today and totally enjoyed reading the article about your house as well as Renee’s. Love, love, love your style!! You are an amazing interior designer. Thanks, Linda Brown
from me:
I am totally choked up! This is the woman whose husband sent me the “duck house” last year; after we had the “duckling disaster”!! (see past posts,; if you want to cry!!)
His “duck house ” (floating duck house in a pond) arrived ; and our mother duck hatched 9 more ducklings in our “repaired” duck house; and another mother duck hatched 9 in Linda’s husband’s duck house!
He is the reason we have two duck houses!
And Linda is the fabulous artist! who does the best “dog portraits ” I have ever seen!
You are truly an inspiration and, therefore, should be featured in her magazine! Each time you are featured someone else will fall under your magical spell and their life will be changed forever for the good. Sending love and big huge congrats. Again.
This is a very beautiful spread, Penelope! Congratulations doesn’t cut it as this is so well-deserved. I love all the new touches nearly as much as the “old” ones. 😉
Penelope! I love your style!! You are so very talented!!! But please, please, please…..!!!! Stop ending every sentence with an exclamation point!!!!! It’s extremely distracting and diminishes the quality and beauty of your blog!!!!!
An exclamation mark is useful when one wants to emphasize a certain point, but when you use it after every sentence, its “power” is completely nullified. I hope you will take this advice in the way that I’m offering it; I don’t mean to be snarky. I mean it only in the friendliest and helpful way. Thank you.
Thank you for your advice! Unfortunately, I write the way I talk; and I have asked many times on my blog about the explanation
points….and I have been told many times not to stop writing like that. I am sorry you don’t like it. I will try to slow down. What say you anyone else have a comment about this? I appreciate constructive criticism; and I did not take it as “snarky” at all! Thank you.
My favorite house! I love it so much – especially the pink around the house!!!!! Love love love! AND – your daughter’s gardens are to die for. I love the way they cut into the hedge so you get just a glimpse of the hedge. That is such a great idea. Beautiful = like mother, like daughter!!!! or vice versa? love you!
Joni
Just saw your home in French Country Style and had to mention “votre maison est la plus jolie dans le magazine”!
Merci beaucoup!!
Hi Penelope,
Congrats on yet another magazine feature; you deserve it! I never tire of gazing at your beautiful home, and although I love all the rooms, it was your gorgeous kitchen that gave me the charming inspiration I was seeking when we were building our home. You are super sweet and I can feel your positive energy and kindness via your punctuation marks! :))
